René Mussaeus is a partner and lawyer specialising in Property and Construction law.
René has extensive expertise and experience in the field of property, including project development, tenancy and construction law, PPP structures and real rights, such as commonhold titles, superficies rights and ground leases.
He provides advice to project developers, construction companies, investors, municipalities and housing corporations in relation to property development, improvement and operation. He also regularly litigates in disputes involving construction and tenancies.
René has acquired extensive experience in the legal profession and business community. He worked for a medium-sized law firm active in the field of property for six years. Apart from this, he has also worked as a company lawyer and attorney-at-law in the employ of one of the largest project developers in the Netherlands for nine years.
René completed the Grotius specialist programme of study in Immovable Property Law cum laude. He is a member of various specialist associations, including the Vereniging Vastgoed Juristen [Property Lawyers Association], de Vereniging voor Bouwrecht-advocaten [Construction Lawyers Association] and the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Aanbestedingsrecht [Dutch Procurement Law Association].
