Ezenia Coleman, an international law student from the United States, is undertaking an internship at Clairfort. She is working in the Intellectual Property, IT & Privacy department. Ezenia says the following about her internship:
“My name is Ezenia, and I am based in San Francisco, California. This fall, I will begin my second year at the University of San Francisco School of Law. Before law school, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, which sparked my interest in intellectual property law, particularly its connection to the entertainment industry.
This summer, I joined Clairfort as an extern with the IP team, drawn to the firm’s strong reputation and expertise in intellectual property law. My time at Clairfort has already been both rewarding and educational. Through a variety of assignments, I have gained valuable insight into IP practice and the legal profession more broadly.
One of the highlights of my externship so far was attending a court hearing with the team. The experience gave me the opportunity to see firsthand how the attorneys prepared, collaborated, and advocated for their client.
I look forward to continuing to develop my legal skills and deepen my understanding of intellectual property law throughout the remainder of my externship. The team’s welcoming and supportive atmosphere has made me feel at home from the very beginning.“
