Pieter Verloop is an attorney-at-law and Associate Partner within the Corporate Law and M&A team at Clairfort.

Pieter Verloop is an associate partner in corporate law at Clairfort Advocaten. Pieter assists companies in mergers and acquisitions and assists them in preventing and resolving corporate disputes. Due to his combined expertise in M&A and litigation practice, Pieter is often asked to assist in acquisition disputes. With an accurate, keen eye, broad perspective and his many years of experience, Pieter remains steady on course even under pressure.

As a modern lawyer and leader, his preference is to work with and for startups and scale-ups with a mission. From energy transition to impact-driven growth, Pieter understands the dynamics of innovative companies and translates complex legal issues into clear, decisive solutions. He also understands that the best solutions actually prevent disputes and Pieter enjoys advising on the design of governance and collaborations of companies in every stage of life. To stay sharp, Pieter regularly attends various postgraduate courses, such as Grotius Corporate and Business Law (2021) and Business Administration for Lawyers (2025). He also teaches the subject Business Law at the Register Belastingadviseurs (RB). Pieter is a member of M&A Onder de Dom and Vereniging Corporate Litigation, among others.
