Michelle van Dalen is a paralegal who works in the field of intellectual property law.
Michelle has been working at Clairfort Attorneys since 2021, where she supports the Intellectual Property, IT, and Privacy law department. Her career at Clairfort began during her Bachelor’s degree in Law at Leiden University, where she got acquainted with the legal profession as an intern.
During her studies, she completed a minor in Intellectual Property Rights, Innovation, and Technology at Utrecht University. This specialization, combined with her work at Clairfort, sparked her interest in IP law. After completing her bachelor’s degree and minor, she pursued a master’s in Intellectual Property Rights, Innovation, and Technology at Utrecht University. She successfully completed this program with a thesis on sustainability and the destruction measure in cases of infringement through the trade of brand products, for which she received a grade of 8.5.
During her time as a student, she was actively involved in the Grotius study association in Leiden and served as editor-in-chief of the magazine ‘Juncto’, published by the law students’ association in Utrecht.
