Mathijs van Logten is a lawyer specialising in labour law. He is a founding partner of Clairfort.
In addition to being an attorney-at-law, Mathijs is a Netherlands Mediators Federation (MFN) mediator and he has acquired managerial experience as the director of Conclusion, a major Dutch service provider. Matthijs has a domestic and international advisory practice and he litigates regularly.
He is a specialist in the field of labour law, within which he primarily focuses on managerial disputes, restrictive clauses (restraint of trade and customer restriction clauses) and issues pertaining to the field of staff representation. He provides assistance to national and international organisations active in various industries, amongst others, the health care, pharmaceutical, construction and industrial sectors.
Before Mathijs established Clairfort in October 2017, he was a partner with Banning Advocaten in Amsterdam, where he was responsible for the firm’s labour law practice.
Mathijs holds various secondary positions. For instance, he is a member of the supervisory board of a health care institution and an arbitrator with the arbitration tribunal of the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB). In addition, Mathijs gives talks and is a member of various professional associations.
