Marcel Maeder-Maes is a lawyer who specialises in property and construction.
He is a lawyer of German descent. First he studied in Germany before he completed the Bachelor’s programme of study in Dutch law at the University of Utrecht cum laude. He is fully bilingual.
Marcel worked in the real estate and project development sectors for more than ten years. The decision to join a firm specialising in property was therefore a logical step. He was working for Houtzager Strijker when that firm joined Clairfort on 1 January 2018.
He provides advice covering divergent subsidiary areas of construction and property law. Marcel’s interest lies predominantly in more complex, in-depth issues. In addition, he provides legal support (in relation to projects and otherwise). In his capacity as a lawyer, Marcel may litigate in disputes involving an interest of no more than €25,000.00.
Marcel is analytical, thorough, alert, friendly and cooperative. Where a client’s interests are involved, he is determined.
