Following the various Home Instead franchisees that Clairfort has advised in the past with the sale of their Home Instead branch to Home Instead Netherlands, in 2023 Clairfort also assisted with the sale of two branches to Home Instead Netherlands. Home Instead is a company engaged in providing home care services. The parent company owns and franchises many businesses with the Home Instead formula around the world.

Also in 2023 Clairfort advised AVerest Capital on the acquisition of an add-on to one of their existing portfolio companies in 2023. AVerest Capital is a private equity fund mainly active in (technical) wholesale, construction and installation, manufacturing and agrifood. Clairfort is pleased to have once again been able to contribute to the further expansion of AVerest Capital’s portfolio.

By joining forces, the companies want to improve multidisciplinary cooperation within the healthcare sector. Together they want to support healthcare professionals and patients with their software solutions.

Clairfort advised Freya Pharma Solutions Holding, a pharmaceutical company developing a pharmaceutical treatment for FSIAD (Female Sexual Interest/Arousal Disorder), in its seed round and acquisition of the intellectual property rights of Emotional Brain. In her seed round, Freya raised USD 8.5 million. Freya is now working on phase 3 of the clinical study with regard to the Lybrido portfolio.

The parent company owns and franchisors many Home Instead businesses around the world. Clairfort has successfully advised the franchisees on the sale of their locations as part of a ‘buy-back’ program of the franchisor.

Clairfort has advised the shareholders of CAJA Professionals on the sale of CAJA to DIT Groep. DIT Groep specializes in the secondment and temporary employment of technical personnel and has now expanded its portfolio with CAJA Professionals and Connetix.

EXIN offers a range of current and in-demand certifications that cover a broad spectrum of specialisms in IT, including Service Management, Agile, and Security as well as Data Center Management. With the acquisition, EXIN adds the certification of people to SIG’s services for assessing and certifying software technology and development processes. Clairfort assisted EXIN in this transaction.

MassiveMusic has 85 employees worldwide in Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, New York and Tokyo. Clairfort assisted the shareholders of MassiveMusic in this transaction.

nGAGE Specialist Recruitment, a UK-based recruitment group that supports and steers some 15 specialist recruitment companies which operate under the nGAGE umbrella, has acquired 10 Select. nGAGE employs over 800 people worldwide and is a portfolio company of Graphite Capital, a UK-based mid-market private equity company. 10Select is a technical recruitment agency with offices in Breda, the Netherlands and Antwerpen, Belgium. The founders/management of 10 Select co-invest alongside nGAGE in the transaction. Clairfort assisted the shareholders of 10 Select in this transaction.
