Eelkje Haalebos is an attorney-at-law specialising in Procurement law & Competition law.
Eelkje Haalebos has been active in the procurement and competition law department since November 2018.
Eelkje obtained her L.L.M. degree in Private Law at the University of Amsterdam cum laude. She graduated with a master thesis about the usage of past performance in the Dutch procurement practice. She also obtained her L.L.B. degree at the University of Amsterdam. During her bachelor she participated in the Amsterdam Honours College of Law, a program for excelling students, in addition to the regular Bachelor’s program.
During her studies Eelkje did various internships. Furthermore, she also participated in ‘The Amsterdam Law Trials’, for which she and her team were awarded the first prize in the category ‘best lawyer team’.
Prior to her legal studies Eelkje studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, and volunteered as a music teacher for Palestinian refugees in Jordan.
